The Under Pressure project opened its virtual home

The European Multiple Sclerosis Platform (EMSP) together with its member societies launched on 29 May the official website of its comprehensive Under Pressure project. This initiative covered 12 countries in two years to produce over 600 high quality pictures and videos together illustrating the different challenges facing the people living with MS and their carers.

The main focus of the project was to highlight the sharp discrepancies in the treatment, employment and empowerment of people with MS on a European continent in which healthcare is being seriously undermined by the financial crisis. Under Pressure successfully integrated the figures and comparisons provided by another EMSP project – the MS Barometer.
