Under Pressure exhibitions in Lithuania
The Lithuanian MS Union (LISS) used the Under Pressure exhibition extensively, between December 2013 and February 2014, in order to raise awareness at national level on the difficulties faced by people with multiple sclerosis.
The most recent Lithuanian Under Pressure exhibition was hosted by the Ministry of Health on 11 February, marking the World Patients Day. Health Minister Vytenis Povilas Andriukaitis (pictured below) was present at the event and interacted with MS patients and carers. The attendance list inlcuded other health policy-makers and representatives of the NGO community.
Previously, the Under Pressure picture set was displayed in the Vilnius Town Hall, between 27 January and 1 February.
The first Lithuanian Under Pressure exhibition took place in the national Parliament on 11 December, when a roundtable discussion between representatives of patient organisations and authorities was also organised.
These events received important media coverage at national level, with at least a dozen publications taking interest (examples here, here and here).
